Musician Frank Ocean recently ventured into the jewelry business, and to house his new Homer collection, the artist has opened a vibrant store in New York. The retail store was designed in collaboration with New York-based architecture studio ANY.
The space pays homage to the new products as well as their vivid packaging design. The interior is aluminum and urethane heavy - which is a blown-up version of the packaging used in the Homer collection. Vivid colors and cartoon-like shapes complete the space.
The store displays the artist's new line of jewelry made of recycled sterling silver, 18 karat gold, and lab-grown diamonds. The store also features two handbags designed in collaboration with fashion house Prada. Unlike most retailers who favor a strong digital presence, Frank Ocean's pieces can be exclusively purchased in-store or over the phone.
