This Concept from the Fountain Of Hygiene Competition Appeals to Kids

To support their health during a global pandemic, people are hand-washing more frequently and Bompas & Parr launched the Fountain Of Hygiene competition to get people thinking about new ways to approach this essential hygiene practice. In March, Bompas & Parr challenged designers to rethink hand sanitizing and the winner in the Child-Directed Design category is a color-changing hand sanitizer brush called Paint Your Hands Clean!

Created by Kate Strudwick, Amos Oyedeji, Alexander Facey and Nicole Stjernswärd, this kid-friendly hand sanitizing solution helps to offer a fun way for kids to keep their hands clean and turn the task of frequently cleansing one's hands into an enjoyable ritual. The concept imagines that kids could apply hand sanitizer by brushing it on, and then see the pH-responsive pigments from red cabbage change as they rub their hands.
