The 2015 Ford F-150 Pick-Up Truck rethinks the classic vehicle in a big way. It replaces the typical steel parts for something a lot lighter, but just as tough: aluminum. By doing so, the company addresses one of the biggest complaints about this assembly line staple, the fact that it burns through so much fuel.
Much more fuel-efficient, the 2015 Ford F-150 Pick-Up Truck is the beginning of a new era in which drivers who rely on such big and roomy cars can still afford them even as gas prices continue to rise. CEO Mark Fields points out, "These vehicles are not just vehicles to our customers. They're tools to help them do their job. This thing has to deliver." Of course, the aluminum body is just the tip of the iceberg.
