Ford's Electric F-150 Vehicle Increases its Base Price Point
Ford is currently raising the base price of its F-150 Lighting pickup truck starting at the entry-level Pro model as well as the XLT trim iteration. A Ford spokesperson speaks about the new decision to The Detroit News, noting that the current order of vehicles will not be affected, “Pricing adjustments are a normal course of business due to rising material costs, market factors and ongoing supply chain constraints."
The Pro work truck started at the price point of $39,974 when it made its initial launch back in April and followed by high prices in August when it raised up to $46,974. In October, it then reached the price of $51,974 and now the base XLT went from $52,974 to $59,474.
