Flying Blue, the joint loyalty program of Air France, KLM, and Transavia, has expanded access to its 'Status Equivalency Offer' for frequent flyers residing in Canada. This initiative allows Flying Blue members who hold 'Elite' status in another airline loyalty program to receive an equivalent Flying Blue tier for 12 months, offering an effortless way to experience the program’s premium benefits and global reach within the SkyTeam alliance.

Depending on their matched tier, members receive a variety of travel privileges. For instance, 'Silver' members enjoy priority check-in and boarding, complimentary standard seat selection, an extra baggage allowance, and accelerated mileage accrual. 'Gold' members gain all Silver benefits, plus SkyTeam Lounge access (with one guest), priority security at select airports, Economy Comfort seat selection (subject to availability), and priority customer service.

Lastly, 'Platinum' members receive all Gold benefits, in addition to ultra-priority services, an extra checked bag, and dedicated telephone support, ensuring a seamless and rewarding travel experience.
