Czech designer Filip Streit won the Good Design award for his Flower Light, featured in the gallery above. The Flower Light looks like it just sprang out the ceiling; it looks familiar—like a flower—but it also looks like something from an alien planet. If the stem of the Flower Light was pointed at me I might be tempted to put on a tin foil hat.
