Design Next Agency Unveiled FLEUR Restaurant

— March 10, 2025 — Art & Design
FLEUR Restaurant, a Shanghainese dining destination in New York City, is introduced by Design Next Agency in collaboration with QWA Studio. This 2,000-square-foot space blends the elegance of 1930s Shanghai with the modern energy of Brooklyn, transitioning from a sunlit daytime retreat to an intimate evening setting.

Inspired by Shanghai’s Art Deco heritage, FLEUR reinterprets geometric patterns and craftsmanship with a contemporary approach. Arched windows highlight "vintage tiles, deep emerald hues, and warm wood finishes while at night, sculptural pendant lighting and brass sconces create a rich, ambient glow over marble tables and plush velvet banquettes, balancing nostalgia with modern sophistication."

Signature elements include "a statement bar with ceramic tiles, brass detailing, and dark wood paneling, as well as layered textures like lattice ceilings and jewel-toned walls." Adjustable lighting enhances the space’s identity, shifting from bright and airy to refined and intimate.
