I may not know much about BMXing, but I still can't help but be entranced by ‘Flat and Street,’ a video which documents the beauty of extreme cycling and its culture.
Produced by Soul BMX Magazine and directed by the talented Hadrien Picard, Flat and Street interlaces physics-defying bike stunts with an eerie Portishead track to create a video that’s simultaneously cool, urban and classy. The occasional fish lens perspective that the camera takes on invokes a surreal, dream-like quality to the images in the clip. It would make sense that this video takes place in a dream as gravity does not seem to influence any of the bikers found in this amazing bike culture montage.
