Lihit Lab Creates the Firm Book End with an Independent Function

The team at Lihit Labs is the creative minds behind the Firm Book End, which is a clever yet interesting bookend designed so that individual books can stand up on its own. Instead of two pieces on opposite ends of one another, it is a single long piece that is made with a teeth-style stopper which can be flipped up.

This way, it does not need to lean against other books to keep it upright. By removing a book, the ones next to it would not be compromised and remain upright. The stoppers are the main component here as it flips back down when there isn't a book to be pushing up. Once a book is removed from its place, the lifted stopped falls down.
