The Fire Country Lookout is by the town of Healdsburg resting on top of a hilltop. The home is designed for a couple with three young children -- they are looking for a remote place to unwind with inspiration from the husband's upbringing in Johannesburg. Studio VARA explains "This legacy was top of mind when the couple visited the seemingly undisturbed lands of Healdsburg, which served as a reminder of the rolling hills of his childhood days."
