Mobile Biometric Logins

Android Devices Can Now Use Fingerprint Verification for Google Services

Users of Android smartphones will now be able to access some Google programs using fingerprint verification or a pin code, as well as a conventional password log in. The new fingerprint verification feature is currently live, and it is Google's initial biometric login. Initially, the feature will only be available to certain Android devices, however, Google has indicated it will roll out the feature to all Android 7.0 compatible devices.

Users can access the new biometric login through Google's passwords website, following that users will be asked to enter their fingerprint into their smartphone. Alternatively, users are able to enter a PIN code or a password in order to log into different Google accounts.
