As the gendered wealth gap is a common concern among consumers today, immersive activations like financial pop-ups are attempting to engage people and educate, all the while providing an aesthetically friendly backdrop for photos. Stacked House is one such educational financial pop-up that seeks to empower women. Described as "a visual spectacle, sensory experience and Instagram playground," the temporary activation boasts a Debt Boxing Gym, a Retirement Rodeo, a Gold Bar, and more. More importantly, the financial pop-up harnesses its approachable atmosphere to boost financial literacy with a Money Moves room by Zelle that helps individuals make informed financial choices, as well as the Stacks Salon which advises attendees how to "boost earnings and map out [their] next side hustle."
Although the activation sparked some criticism, the financial pop-up proves to be a creative way of engaging the topic of finance.
