FeltTwo by Sebastian Herkner, an industrial designer born in Germany and based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, is an alarm clock that focuses more on aesthetics than it does on getting people to use such an 'archaic' product. In a time when smartphones are waking people up, it is important to give people incentive to use traditional creations.

Made out of felt and bamboo, FeltTwo by Sebastian Herkner is a minimalist and textured clock that people would proudly display on their nightstand. Or perhaps even cuddle up to in place of a teddy bear. Created for LEFF Amsterdam, it boasts modern touches as well including laser engraving on the bamboo that invokes a sense of fine craftsmanship. Available in three colors (white black and grey), it is chic and practical.
