McDonald's China Has Added Exercise Bikes to Some of Its Restaurants

— December 22, 2021 — Business
McDonald's China recently went viral on China for the introduction of fast food exercise bikes.

In a now widely viewed video, a woman at a McDonald's restaurant in China was seen eating a burger and drinking a soda while using a fast food exercise bike. Of course, this is not just any exercise bike. These McDonald's-branded bikes are attached to the wall with an extended seat so each person can sit as close to the pedals as needed. There's also a table that comes to chest level so riders can enjoy their meal while pedaling in place.

While the idea of using an exercise bike in the middle of a busy restaurant may seem unusual, the video shows that the bikes are clearly being used by some patrons in China.
