Rent the Runway is Launching iOS-Based In-Store Scanners and Kiosks

Rent the Runway, a consumer fashion rental company that offers both online and in-store experiences, will soon be integrating self-serve fashion kiosks into its physical environments.

The all-new retail scanners and Aila Interactive Kiosks with TrueScan technology will make it possible for customers to quickly pick up, exchange and drop off orders as needed. These new self-serve kiosks have the potential to significantly improve the customer experience by simplifying the way in which returns, exchanges and rentals are organized. To better simulate the online shopping experience, a growing number of retailers are implementing in-store solutions inspired by the ease of web shopping.

At NRF 2018: Retail's Big Show, Rent the Runway showed off the solutions from Aila Technologies that will be reshaping in-store operations and boosting customer loyalty.
