Car owners play a massive role in P2P services, after companies like Uber and Lyft have enabled drivers to work independently, and on their own time. In addition, a service called Chargie is connecting individuals with electric vehicles to people with charging stations, streamlining the process and offering an on-demand service that's more convenient for both parties.

Niche service also flourish in the peer-to-peer market, like an on-demand napping service called 'Pop and Rest,' which functions as an even more temporary version of Airbnb and enables busy travelers to have a quick rest.
