Austrian Brand Shopreme Debuts a New Self-Checkout Kiosk for Retailers

Shopreme, an Austria-based self-checkout company, has debuted a new self-checkout kiosk scheduled to debut this year. One notable feature of the Shopreme matrix self-checkout kiosk is its convenience for customers. Users can scan items directly using their smartphones and complete the payment process using a payment card. In addition, by printing a QR code, users can conveniently download a digital version of their receipt, reducing paper waste and promoting eco-friendly shopping experiences.

To ensure compliance with age restrictions on certain products, the kiosk employs a dedicated employee app. This app allows for remote completion of the age verification process, enabling self-checkout customers to receive the necessary authorization without the help of an employee.

The new kiosks will debut in the later half of 2023.
