The FableWood toy collection is comprised of three abstractly designed wooden animals with detachable parts and limbs all joined together by embedded magnets. The detachable nature of the toys give kids the opportunity to build all sorts of animal hybrids, with any number of body parts and limbs.
The toys in the FableWood collection are made from North American Walnut and Ash wood, along with lead-free Neodynium Magnets. The magnets are the the key to the innovation in FableWood as they allow the parts to satisfyingly snap to one another. The magnets were designed to easily snap onto one another, ensuring that children would not get frustrated when trying to connect pieces together, and will attach to any part of the wooden animals. The magnets also give the FableWood toys a sense of movement as they allow the parts to rotate, flap and turn.
