For Free Cone Day this year, Häagen-Dazs fans will be able to sample the ice cream products that couldn't be created without the honey bee, as well as immerse themselves in The Extraordinary Honey Bee VR experience. Häagen-Dazs has been supporting honey bee research since 2008 and to bring awareness to the cause, so the ice cream brand is dedicating Free Cone Day this year to the humble honey bee.

The Extraordinary Honey Bee VR film is one that's "only viewable at the size of a honey bee" and has the potential to give consumers a new perspective on the disappearing honey bee population and colony collapse disorder.

Häagen-Dazs brings attention to the fact that without the honey bee, fruits and berries would disappear, along with ice creams, sorbets, frozen yogurts and bars made with simple, natural ingredients.
