Expanded Regional Cruise Offerings

Carnival Adds Luminosa to Baltimore Sailings with Miracle

Carnival Cruise Line is introducing expanded regional cruise offerings from Baltimore, adding Carnival Luminosa to its existing operations alongside Carnival Miracle. Beginning in November 2028, the newly refreshed ship will provide travelers with additional vacation choices, connecting the Mid-Atlantic departure port to destinations across The Bahamas, Bermuda, Canada, and the Caribbean.

Following improvements during dry dock, Carnival Luminosa will offer seven- to 14-day voyages, including extended Southern Caribbean journeys. Together, both ships will serve 22 destinations, with itineraries featuring Aruba, Barbados, Curaçao, and St. Lucia. Carnival Miracle will also operate seasonal Canada/New England cruises, providing alternatives to tropical vacations.

For Carnival, the expanded schedule creates opportunities to attract travelers with different vacation preferences and schedules. Offering shorter getaways alongside longer destination-focused journeys could strengthen Baltimore's appeal as a departure point while supporting bookings across the company's growing cruise program.
