Resort-Style Caribbean Journeys

Explora Journeys Introduces Its 2027 Caribbean Season Program

Explora Journeys is staging its 2026-27 Caribbean season across two ships from mid-October 2026 through March 2027, connecting multiple island destinations in a single sailing experience. The program uses Explora I and Explora II to combine varied ports with elevated service and expansive onboard space.

Explora I begins Caribbean sailings from Miami on Nov. 17 following a trans-Atlantic voyage, while Explora II departs Quebec City on Oct. 15 and reaches San Juan on Nov. 1. Highlights include The Baths on Virgin Gorda, humpback whales in Samaná Bay, Dominica’s rainforests and waterfalls, powerboating in Grenada, snorkeling at the Underwater Sculpture Park and visits to Guadeloupe and Saint Lucia.

Culinary and craft experiences range from a beachside lobster lunch to rum blending in Saint Kitts and chocolate making in Saint Lucia. The deployment reflects the luxury cruise industry’s shift toward experience-led, multidestination itineraries, helping Explora deepen its Caribbean presence and capture holiday and winter travel demand.
