Extended Australian Voyages

Holland America Line is Deploying Three Vessels in 2027 and 2028

Holland America Line is deploying three vessels for a series of extended voyages across Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific. These trips are scheduled to commence between September 2027 and March 2028.

The cruises range in duration from two weeks to over a month and are structured to facilitate a more thorough engagement with the region compared to standard itineraries. A key strategic feature is the inclusion of extended port stays — including overnights in Melbourne, Cairns, and Lautoka — which will allow for more in-depth exploration beyond a brief daytime visit.

Holland America Line's programming emphasizes connection with the natural environment and local cultures, offering over one hundred organized excursions focused on wildlife viewing and visits to numerous UNESCO World Heritage sites. Onboard, the experience is designed to complement the destinations through regionally inspired cuisine and educational content. The company is also promoting early booking incentives that bundle amenities like beverage packages, Wi-Fi, and gratuities.
