Starbucks' Espresso Cloud IPA is the newest drink addition to the 'Starbucks Evenings' menu. As its name suggests, the drink is a hoppy IPA that gets combined with Starbucks espresso and hints of fruit flavors for a unique handcrafted beverage.

To create the Espresso Cloud IPA, Starbucks Evenings baristas need to do more than simply opening a can. The beverage doesn't come prepackaged, meaning that it needs to be prepared and mixed fresh every time it's ordered. For consumers, that means getting a unique cocktail whenever they patronize a Starbucks Evenings location.

To make the Espresso Cloud IPA, baristas shake espresso over ice with orange pieces and some sweet vanilla. This shaking motion produces a foam that is then layered on top of a pint of IPA. The cold espresso is then served on the side, and consumers can choose to pour it into their beers.
