'eRinGo' Features Rotor-Gyro Balancing and Two Steering Wheels

— October 17, 2009 — Autos
The ‘eRinGo’ by Iranian designer Mohammad Ghezel is a ring-shaped electric car. It rotor/gyro system balances the vehicle on a large wheel running around its axis. Two medium-sized side wheels also provide balance, support, and help the vehicle to navigate turns smoothly.

The two-seater provides steering wheels for both passengers, which could make for some interesting commuting should directional disagreements arise between the occupants. Fortunately, the designer included a "use-it-or-lose-it" feature that disables the second wheel once the first has been put into use.
