Equinox Miracle Mile Transforms a TV Studio into an Expansive Gym

Situated in the heart of Los Angeles, the Equinox Miracle Mile gym makes use of an old television studio and transforms it into a luxury fitness center. Designed by California-based MGH Architects, this new gym takes over the 27,621-square-foot and generally repurposes the former studio and office. The converted space now includes specific rooms for Pilates, cycling, group fitness, and hot yoga. Equinox Miracle Mile also features included rooms for spa treatments, a juice bar, a retail space and a children's play area.

The decorative features of the gym were chosen specifically by MGH Architects as a means to stand out from Equinox's nine other hubs in the city, while also addressing the layout of the space and its poor natural lighting. Generous amounts of integrated artificial lighting illuminate the space, while curving walls lead members to the heart of the club.
