The eNeighbor App Lets Users Receive Other Neighbor's Packages

'eNeighbor' is a new app that is designed to solve the issue of picking up online deliveries. Many consumers have dealt with the frustrating situation of ordering something online, only to miss the delivery because it happened while they were at work. This app lets neighbors receive packages on your behalf so that you never miss another delivery.
eNeighbr works by letting users choose neighbors and businesses to accept packages on their behalf. Similar to services such as Uber and Airbnb, those who register to accept packages must be deemed trustworthy and then rated after each delivery. In exchange, the person accepting the package will earn $3.50 of the $3.99 delivery fee. Because the person accepting the package is earning a profit from the exchange, they have a greater incentive to make sure that the recipient of the package receives their order in a safe and secure manner.
The new service demonstrates how the sharing economy can be used to solve the common problem of missed deliveries.
