Endangered Species by Donna Wilson, a Scottish designer based in East London, England, is an adorable art installation that nevertheless touches upon an important subject. It is made up of trees and animals, but not just any trees and animals. They have been knitted by the artist herself, an impressive feat considering the scale of the exhibit.
Showcased at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park earlier this year, Endangered Species by Donna Wilson is filled with her signature patterns and more. Cartoonish and quirky, the pieces in the art installation will surely give people a new appreciation for all things nature, even if they aren't natural themselves.
One of the trees from Endangered Species by Donna Wilson is set to be donated to the Stepney Green Design Collection by Dezeen. It reaches 1.8 metre-high.
