In order to promote its new game, 'Tom Clancy’s The Division,' Ubisoft set up an "End of Society Simulator" called 'Collapse' that shows how the world ends in this particular video game universe.
Tom Clancy’s The Division is a third-person shooter game that's set in Manhattan following a virus outbreak that turns the world upside down. In Collapse, the simulator gives players the chance to step into the shoes of patient zero and watch as the world collapses around their exact location over the course of just a few days.
While playing Collapse is not essential to the experience of the full video game, this promotional simulator adds a personal touch that deepens a player's involvement and interest before or after playing Tom Clancy’s The Division. The simulator can now be played online, which makes it even more irresistible to gamers.
