These Cards Ask Questions to Improve Understanding of Those Around You

Empathy cards are a concept created after a popular speaker series 'Applied Empathy' created a demand for a more hands-on approach to gaining perspective and understanding. The team behind the speaker series, Sub Rosa, breaks down seven archetypes of empathy: Sage, Inquirer, Convener, Alchemist, Confident, Seeker and Cultivator. They then ask several questions relating each archetype with the intention of strengthening, what they call, our empathetic minds.

The cards come equipped with thought-provoking questions such as "how do you build trust?" or "when does your curiosity create difficulty?" allowing for an immersive conversation with the benefit of mutual understanding to replace the mundane, surface-level conversations which tend to dominate social situations.

These empathy cards demonstrate the ways in which communication and understanding can be applied to improve both professional, and personal lives.
