This electric aircraft concept is undoubtedly impressive for a number of reasons, both in terms of being environmentally friendly, and innovative in its experiential offering. Lee Rosario's design of the AJet-100 strives to reduce fuel expenditure and to create the illusion of added space in what typically feel like cramped cabins.
Solar energy is harnessed and stored in lithium ion batteries, powering a pair of high-output electric engines with a hybrid fuel backup. The shape of the airplane has also been rendered more efficient for flight with precision-sculpted aerodynamics to the fuselage, the wings and the stabilizers.
However, perhaps the most memorable feature of this AI-piloted electric aircraft is the glass floor proposed for the aisle of the AJet-100. This jaw-dropping view could be enhanced with augmented reality overlays to virtually enhance the flight experience.
