The Edyn Garden is a hi-tech gardening device that analyzes the conditions of the environment and, most importantly, the soil to inform people what the best produce options are for them. With four built-in sensors, the Edyn Garden is capable of measure humidity, light, temperature and soil conditions to give green thumbs a digital advantage over Mother Nature herself.
Designed by Jason Aramburu alongside industrial designer Yves Behar, the Edyn Garden is funded by the Bill And Melinda Gates Foundation. It requires a WiFi connection to determine the area in order to give a more accurate assessment. Once a plant type is chosen, it alerts the user when the soil needs watering, requires more fertilizer and more.
The Edyn Garden is currently available for pre-order. It is priced at a reasonable $99.
