The Tourism and Agribusiness Development Company of the Azores, which is responsible for tourism-related projects in the gorgeous Portuguese islands of the Azores, is setting up a number of resorts in the area that will be fitted with splendid eco-cabins that offer tranquility, luxury and a guilt-free vacationing experience.
These eco-cabins will measure in at anywhere between 15 and 20 square meters each. The cabins are fully prefabricated and make use of a variety of ethically and locally sourced materials include pumice stone, with windows crafted together from recycled plastic. Elsewhere, the cabins are powered by a solar array, and inhabitants are offered access to bicycles to explore the area.
