This ecological resort surely has an unusual aesthetic. Located on the seafront in Lancashire, UK, the futuristic and nature-inspired building was conceived by London-based architecture studio Grimshaw for environmental charity — the Eden Project International.

Intended to be a landmark destination that will attract the public and kick-start conversations about planet preservation and sustainability, the ecological resort boasts a number of indoor and outdoor activities that will surely attract tourists. Still in the planning stages, Grimshaw released a number of visualizations that depict the planned development. The five muscle-shaped vessels of the ecological resort have the function of glasshouses and house delicate marine environments. This feature will introduce visitors to the lush and rich life of Morecambe Bay.
