Unlikely partners Teijin Limited, a leading chemical manufacturer in Japan, and luxury fashion fur company Royal Chie Group, have teamed up for an unusual venture: Eco-friendly fur.
Using closed-loop recycling, which combines a recycled fabric made from used polyester with chinchilla fur, designer Chie Imai has created four designs that combine fur and technology.
In addition to their eco-friendly fur fashions, Royal Chie also sells more traditional outerwear, including their reversible Mosaique de Chie line. The one I really, really want, however, is the Russian Marten Long Coat that is the last picture in the gallery. (Hear that, Santa?)
