While Staples' Easy Button has become a symbol of its one stop shop experience, the brand has expanded on this idea with the functional Easy System, which allows consumers to reorder supplies with as little interaction as possible.
In order to make the experience as customized as possible, Staples and its collaborator, IBM Watson, made it so the Easy System can be accessed through virtually any digital channel, be it via text message, email, its website, or even a connected Easy Button. As the Easy System is able to learn as it's used, it can predict the needs of consumers in advance and remember which products they prefer.
In addition to saving time around the workplace, the Easy System prevents errors in ordering and helps businesses to manage their costs.
