The 'SafeTrig' desk comes as a safe, effective design solution to provide students with individual earthquake shelters in order to keep them safe, should they find themselves having to brace for seismic activity when studying.

The 'SafeTrig' desk operates as a traditional piece of furniture for kids at school to use in order to partake in their studies on a regular basis. When seismic activity increases and the need for shelter is required, the 'SafeTrig' desk instantly converts to provide kids with a place for them to find protection from falling debris until they can safely escape or be rescued.

The 'SafeTrig' earthquake shelter desk is the design work of Liu Yizhou, Chen Yue, Gao Han, Liu Mingyu, Gao Weiyue, Liu Hongmiao, Zhang Han and Chen Zhenbang.
