Orbi is a nomadic desk for children that will help little ones be more diligent with their homework while getting help from mom and dad. This playful and functional concept was developed by emerging designer Coralie Haegeman who pursued a Master of Design in Design and Innovation.
The nomadic desk is lightweight and has a handle. These features are included in order for children (or their parents) to move Orbi as needed. The motivation behind the concept came from the fact that "family members are often tired and still have many tasks to deal with," even after elementary school is out for the day. Orbi allows children to move where they can be supervised and helped with their homework, while also accommodating adults who may have other tasks to tend to.
