Drone company DJI has teamed up with iconic Swedish camera maker Hasselblad to develop a medium format drone kit that marks a sea-change in the world of aerial drone photography.
This particular drone kit happens to be built around the architecture of the Hasselblad A5D camera, which is specifically designed without use of internal moving parts that could be adversely affected by aerial movements. The drone structure makes use of as many as six rotors, and is capable of carrying a payload of up to 6 kg. The drone kit is capable of streaming images and videos directly to the DJI GO smartphone app, which also doubles as a controller.
