The American cable network Adult Swim is touring across the country with a pop-up drive-in theater to promote new content and never-before-seen episodes. The network is carrying about inflatable screens that will be set in specific towns to bring fresh proramming directly to consumers.
This fun marketing stunt allows consumers to preview the new content from the comfort of their own vehicles. While the content is new, the nostalgic idea of a drive-in theater will induce memories for the adult viewers.
The country-wide tour is set to last about six weeks and make 15 stops in various places. The first theater will be created in Pittsburgh on September 17. The events will have an age advisory for those under the age of 19, due to content that will feature 'Rick and Morty,' 'Robot Chicken,' and 'Black Jesus.'
