Mad Mike and Red Bull Showed Off a Drifting Lamborghini Huracan
Daniel Johnson — July 9, 2019 — Autos
A drifting Lamborghini Huracan, titled 'NIMBUL,' has debuted as a result of a Mad Mike and Red Bull collaboration. Mad Mike was a Formula Drift champion in 2018. The NIMBUL is set to be revealed at the Goodwood Festival of speed. However, the company has released a video of the car's performance. The former Drift champion will drive the car at the upcoming event.
A number of mechanical alterations had to be made to create the drifting Lamborghini Huracan. These include a new steering system, sway bars, and a digital suspension. The suspension system allows the car to be closer to the ground. Other changes to the car include a new braking system, as well as an ECU that can control nitrous in the exhaust. New rims were also added as well as safety features inside the car.
