In Celebration of Lamborghini’s 60th anniversary, the luxury sports car brand has joined with contemporary artist Ikeuchi Hiroto for a cyberpunk-inspired custom Lamborghini Huracán STO called ‘Time Chaser_111100’ and a Time Gazer interactive art piece as part of its “Chasing the Future” initiative. Head of Japan Automobili Lamborghini Davide Sfrecola spoke on the collaboration, saying: “He amplifies and investigates the connection and relationship between humans and technology in a country so rich in millennia-old traditions and contemporary culture.”
The Lamborghini Huracán STO was designed in a cyberpunk theme with futuristic designs on the mechanical specs as well since Ikeuchi Hiroto is best known for his futuristic mechanical display pieces. The Lamborghini Huracán STO ‘Time Chaser_111100’ features cyberpunk decals with white, silver, and black color scheme and carbon fiber accents. Additionally, there is a supercomputer-like unit on the engine cover. As for the Time Gazer art piece, it resembles an ultra-advanced controller as well as incorporating a number of high-valued computer pieces combined with automotive elements from Lamborghini. Through Lamborghinis’s sports cars and Ikeuchi Hiroto’s influence, these two pieces explore the concepts of time and timelessness.
