Electric Lamp Dresses

The Sharewear Project

I have no idea what these modern furniture inspired dresses are, but they seems like a fun way to spend Sundays, and I want one!

Sharewear describes them as electronic dresses that merge together "to activate atmospheric pools of light."

These lights aren't only above the head, but also in hidden compartments in the skirt. This makes it possible to play with them to create different shadows during performances.

The dresses are made of foam and thick woolen fabric, and there are also some wooden elements. They consist of different parts, making it easier to get dressed. If the audience members want to, they can become a part of the performance as well by "slotting the modular forms around the human form'.

The dresses are the work of Di Mainstone and the V2_ team.
