AI-Powered Glowing Dream Recorders

Modem Presents the Dream Recorder to Playback Dreams

Dutch design firm Modem has just presented the impressive Dream Recorder with the foundation of AI technology. The device rests on the bedside and captures dreams as a visual journal. It replays them as short videos so users can wake up and push a button on the device to recollect their dreams from the previous night.

Astin le Clerq explains, "The fascination [with dreams] has always been there. What's changed is the technology. For the first time, we have tools capable of giving shape to the subconscious, turning the invisible into something we can see, and maybe even begin to understand." Notably, it was important that it wouldn't disrupt sleep of the santuary that is the bedroom. Ensuring it works without apps or notifications, just a simple glow.
