Drake's Fornite Stream saw the Canadian rapper joining forces with streamer Tyler "Ninja" Blevins and smashing Twitch streaming records in the process. For the uninitiated, Fornite is a multiplayer action game that pits players against one another to be the last player standing. The game, which was released in 2017, has skyrocketed in popularity thanks to its free Battle Royale mode with numerous streamers owing success to the game. Tyler "Ninja" Blevins is one of these streamers and while he has found success on his own this venture with Drake shattered his subscriber and view count.

Drake's Fornite Stream occurred on March 14, 2018 and had over 600,000 people watching live at its peak. This achievement destroyed the previous record of 388,000 views and garnered Blevins' over 90,000 new subscribers. The stream also featured appearances from Travis Scott and Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster. The success of this Stream indicates one of the first times a celebrity has worked publicly with an streaming star and shows a distinct blend of traditional fame and internet fame.
