Artistic Pizza Rebrands

Dr. Oetker Pizza is Being Rebranded from 'Ristorante' to 'Virtuoso'

For several years now, consumers have come to know that Dr. Oetker pizza products are offered under the name 'Ristorante Pizza.' Now, Dr. Oetker is refreshing its assortment of frozen pizza products with an all-new name, branding and packaging.

A "virtuoso" describes someone who excels with talents beyond their chosen art form. As such, classic Ristorante Pizzas like Mushroom, Tomato & Goat Cheese, Vegetable medley and Pepperoni Pesto are now being re-introduced under the name 'Virtuoso Pizza.'

This strategic rebranding puts a newfound emphasis on the quality of the fresh-tasting ingredients that are used in each frozen pizza product, as well as each variety's creativity and imagination when it comes to unique flavor combinations. Much of the new branding includes references to music and art, with Dr. Oetker noting: "Our delicious concerto of real ingredients will make your taste buds sing like no other. It’s the perfect harmony of unique toppings."
