Currently set to be completed within an already-built cancer care hospital in England, Maggie's Centre by Dow Jones Architects hopes to offer support for those in need. The design is a one-level structure set in the middle of an open field that encourages being one with nature and developing a more relaxed disposition.

The material used on the building mostly consists of sandstone, which helps the structure blend well with its natural surroundings. The one-storey setup also makes it easier for those suffering from certain types of cancer to get around easily without too much hassle. Overall the goal of the building by Dow Jones Architects is to give patients a place of refuge from the hospital, and reflect on life.
