The Doughnut Cake by Kimberly Stoney is Quick to Whip Up

The Doughnut Cake looks like a sweet piece of heaven, and it didn't even take that much effort to create. Essentially, it is the perfect celebratory confection to whip up on the fly when pressed for time. Whether it involves a forgotten birthday or an impromptu new job party, the Doughnut Cake is the icing on the cake, literally.

Conceived by Kimberly Stoney, a baker based in New England, United States, who is also known as 'bean9481' on Instructables, the Doughnut Cake requires only a few jumbo-sized Texas donuts, three in this case, some white icing, rainbow sprinkles as well as red and blue food coloring gel. For those who want to get a little more fancy, they can make their own donuts, though that defeats the purpose.
