ZIP is a first-of-its-kind Canadian dockless scooter company and it is committed to offering an alternative, affordable and environmentally mode of transportation with its innovative micro-mobility solutions.

Using a scooter from ZIP begins with finding a scooter to rent and unlocking it via a QR code. From there, users can get going on bike lanes and roadways and use the accelerator and brakes as needed. When it comes time to park the scooter, it can be marked with "Park/End" in the app and a receipt will be provided for one's completed trip.

As a recent UN report estimates that 68% of the world's population is projected to be living in urban centers by the year 2050, new transportation options will need to be implemented to improve air quality, reduce congestion on the roads and help people get around in a low-cost way.
