This DIY dishware project comes to us from Honestly WTF, a website known for their fashion news and craft ideas. The project transforms traditional kitchen accessories into ornate works of art. If you don't have the budget to afford a high quality plate set, then try this fun craft activity that is sure to appeal to lovers of unique home decor.
The project adorns simple porcelain plates with photo printed imagery of insects or natural life. The plates are accented with cutout photographs that are sprayed with a urethane clear coat before application. Once dry, the images are placed in warm water and later applied to any dish.
Once attached, the images should be left to dry for at least an hour before they are completely secure.
