The DIY Cone Pendant Lamp is a fun home project that adds a nice chic touch to living spaces. For those who have admired the dynamic shape of pyramidal lampshades but didn't want to spend the dough on one, this design is just for them. Made out of affordable materials, or not so affordable ones depending on what a person really wants and needs, the DIY Cone Pendant Lamp is full of potential.
Created by Meg Kemner of Design Milk, the DIY Cone Pendant Lamp is relatively easy to make. Using a flat, flexible, and flame-retardant material such as metal mesh, felts, leather, hardware cloth and canvas, the lampshade is secured using machine nuts around an existing cord set and bulb.
